Let It Rain
(Jon Bon Jovi and Luciano Pavarotti, Modena, June 9th 1998)
Last night I had a dream that there would be a morning after
Long days, sunshine, and peace
Long nights of love, forgiveness, and laughter
Maybe it was just a dream but it could be reality
Children are like planting seeds, you’ve got to let their flowers grow
Don’t you know
Fà che piova, (Let it rain)
Fà che il cielo mi lavi il dolor (Let heaven wash away my pain)
Fà che piova (Let it rain)
che sia la pace il nome d'amor (That peace would be the name of love)
Through the rain I saw a child just like my child
Someone’s son or daughter
I watched as they played for a while
I wanted to cry, those babies just smiled
Maybe it was just a dream, but it should be reality
A child is just God’s sign that peace and love are seeds to make
tomorrow grow
Fà che piova, (Let it rain)
Fà che il cielo mi lavi il dolor (Let heaven wash away my pain)
Fà che piova (Let it rain)
che sia la pace il nome d'amor (That peace would be the name of love)
Go on, we’ve tried war
No one wants peace more
Than the children who ask their dads why
Fà che piova, (Let it rain)
Fà che il cielo mi lavi il dolor (Let heaven wash away my pain)
Fà che piova (Let it rain)
che sia la pace il nome d'amor (That peace would be the name of love)

Words to ponder...
Live neither in the past nor in the future, but let each day's work absorb your entire energies, and satisfy your widest ambition.

I thank Thee Lord!
Another year has been added again to my life and it is indeed a precious gift from God above. What more can I humbly ask? Isn't it a bonus to celebrate each year? As a person who's always been having an on and off trials after trials...if not for the faith in my heart, I don't know how to smile cguro. But God is so good for giving me the wisdom and enough courage to beat and escape the avenue of boredom and life's annoyance. But that shouldn't be the case 'coz indeed life is still a blessing, no matter what!

Your Heart Today
Where there is fear I can allay, where there is pain I can heal,
Where there are wounds I can bind, and hunger I can fill.
Lord, grant me courage, Lord, grant me strength,
Grant me compassion that I may be Your heart today.
Where there is hate I can confront, where there are yokes I can release,
Where there are captives I can free, and anger I can appease.
Lord, grant me courage, Lord, grant me strength,
Grant me compassion that I may be Your heart today.
When comes the day I dread to see our broken world,
Compel me from my cell grown cold that Your people I may behold.
Where there is fear I can allay, where there is pain I can heal,
Where there are wounds I can bind, and hunger I can fill.
Lord, grant me courage, Lord, grant me strength,
Grant me compassion that I may be Your heart today.
And when I’ve done all that I could,
Yet there are hearts I cannot move,
Lord, give me hope… that I may be Your heart today.

The Parable of the Lost Coin...
Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, "Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost.' Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
– Luke 15:8–10
PS/ Wala itong pinagkaiba sa naliligaw na anak...na kailangan hanapin at ipagbunyi kapag nakita na siya o nahatak na sa tamang daan.

"The Three Stages of Life"
From Andre Maurois' essay entitled The Three Stages of Life...I like this part most that goes...
"A woman maybe a mother or grandmother and enjoy looking after the happiness of her children or grandchildren, but once in a while she feels the need for retirement. Her life has been one of constant activity. Now she must pause and get her bearings and relive in her mind her most cherished memories__ in short, take a little time for herself after having devoted so much of her life to others. Of course, she need not give up the pleasure of reading (I know many who are marvelous readers) nor the conversation of the second stage (I know many who are delightful conversationalists) but she will reserve for herself a part of each day for reminiscence, for prayer or meditation."
